My name is Alison.
This page is about how I, a chronic worrier/stressball, with a fairly crazy life, try to deal with things. How I try to not be afraid of “monsters” and live my life the way it was meant to be lived.
Abundantly.
And here are ten random things about me.
1. Some people have called my hair colour “orange”.
2. I have two little girls, who are my favourite people in the world.
3. Neither of my girls has orange hair. They’re probably pretty happy about that.
4. I have a cockatiel, with orange cheeks, named Alex.
5. I am always making big plans, but it seems to me I get distracted before I carry them out. I’m trying to change that and accomplish a few of the good ones.
6. I like reading books better than watching movies a lot of the time.
7. I’m still afraid of the dark. If it was at all acceptable for a person my age, I’d sleep with a nightlight.
8. I’m definitely not as smart as I think I am. But I think most people aren’t as smart as they think they are either, so we’re all equals that way.
9. I can’t have mini-marshmallows in the house, or I eat the whole lot of them at once. I find them very addictive.
10. I have no other addictions or vices whatsoever.

I loved your blog…found it by “accident” as I was googling “what is making the hair on my one leg stand on end?” (I’ve been having this strange affliction which I loosely associate with a ghost who has attached itself to me (perhaps at the leg region) and thought…Oh, what the heck! Someone with a sense of humor about themselves and who can still look at the world in a good light. I too have two great girls…a little older…and am sooooooo glad I didn’t have boys. I will be trying out this blogging business myself now that you have inspired me! Thanks for making me chuckle today….I sure needed it.
